The popular Edelsfeld Hahnenkammlauf is just around the corner! We invite you to participate in our idyllic forest run, which is already in its 23rd edition this year. The date is June 6, 2026, and you can find all the information about registration, routes, and start times on our new website. We would especially like to highlight our children’s running training, which will take place weekly starting in April to prepare for the race. The Hahnenkammlauf offers various distances for different age groups, from the Bambini class to the men's class.

Highlights

  • The course layout is challenging and idyllic, predominantly on well-maintained forest paths through the Eiselbach Valley.
  • The Bambini class runs 400 meters, while the children's classes cover distances from 600 meters to 1,500 meters.
  • The men's class and the walking course cover a distance of 8,300 meters, while the women's lap has a distance of 4,800 meters.
